Join us for Evening Prayer with Holy Stranger — a quiet, inclusive gathering for reflection, stillness, and community in the Eckington neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Our rhythm is rooted in the Anglican tradition of Evening Prayer as practiced in the Episcopal Church — a gentle liturgy of scripture, silence, and shared intercession.
🕯️ Grounded in ancient Christian prayer
🎶 Marked by stillness, music, and reflection (you won’t be asked to sing)
🌈 United in prayer for our neighbors and for LGBTQ+ refugees abroad
We are more than LGBTQ-welcoming — we are queer-affirming, ecumenical, and open to all who seek a space of prayer, beauty, and belonging.
No preparation or materials are needed — simply bring yourself and an open heart.
📍 Eckington Community Room (near Quincy Lane / Union Kitchen Eckington)
🕡 Wednesday, October 15 · 6:30–7:15 PM
We’ll gather for about 45 minutes of prayer and reflection, with light conversation afterward for those who wish to linger.
