New Weekend Portrait Drawing Sessions | This Sunday in Holyoke

We're unveiling a new weekend session portrait series, once per month through this summer and fall, so bring your supplies and get ready to dig in on a clothed long pose or portrait!

If you like to relax, draw, and chit chat with other artists, we think you'll enjoy these weekend sessions, in partnership with The Guilded Brick. Enjoy a little afternoon iced tea, while you're here.

Artists of all levels and backgrounds are welcome, and may also bring guests. We provide seating, the model, and the space, plus light food and drinks*, and a limited number of easels. There is a private bathroom as well as gender-neutral restrooms down the hall, and the space is ground floor wheelchair-accessible. Guests are also welcome to bring their own easels and food.

Door fee: $15 to cover model & studio expenses. We accept cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal. Reduced rate of $10 for members of the Holyoke Arts League

Poses:

Typically some short warm-up poses, followed by a 90+ minute long pose, with background music; check our full events list if you enjoy regular sketching from shorter poses.

*Water, seltzer, and soda provided, otherwise BYOB.
