Want to play 5 a side without having to commit to a full season, join a club or pay registration fees up front?

That's what Home & Away is about.

The plan is simple, get people together for football, make it easy to book a spot, turn up and have a bit of craic.

We're starting at the DKIT Sports Facility in Dundalk.

€10 to play.

You might be wondering why we're not playing in Drogheda.

Honestly? Because booking a pitch there is difficult.

There's a lot of talk around insurance, club or organisational membership, forms and other legal stuff just to get a few people onto a pitch.

I'm just one lad trying to get something going in my spare time. I've a job, I've plenty going on, and I'm not being paid to organise this.

I just want to be able to book a pitch, get a few people together and play football.

With DKIT, it was simple. I asked about booking a pitch, they sent me a link, I paid for it, and that's it.

That's the kind of experience I want to create for you.

I know Dundalk is a bit of a trek from Drogheda, so we're starting a Drivers Play Free initiative.

✈️ But this is only the start.

The idea is to build a football community with a bit of everything.

5 a side locally, 5-a-side abroad, FIFA tournaments. Player stats, Footgolf, Football museum tours, Trips abroad, Live games, and some AI-powered tools to make the whole thing more interactive.

There's something for everyone.

Can't make the first game? No bother. Join the group anyway. There's plenty more coming.

I'm building Home & Away from scratch, and I'd love for people to help shape what it becomes, but there's absolutely no pressure to be at every game or event.

We'll also use quick five question max surveys at matches, with QR codes making it easy for everyone to have their say and help make Home & Away better and more inclusive.

No big commitment.
