Calling all Homeowners. This group is for anyone interested in getting home renovation and construction projects done using contractors.
I started this group because I went through the home renovation process and learned a lot in the process. I'm a professional construction manager, so when I decided to renovate my house I thought it was going to be easy, but was I ever mistaken. Residential contractors seem to play by different rules, but that doesn't mean you can't get them to play by yours. Of course to make that happen you need to know which rules make sense, what they look like and how to apply them.
I'm interested in talking with other people who are thinking about planning, starting or have already started a construction or renovation project. Let's get together and talk about working with contractors. I want to help you get started right and solve the problems you're having.
