What we’re about
Welcome to the YWCA Delaware Community Events group!
At YWCA Delaware, we’re dedicated to building safe, stable, and empowered lives for individuals and families across Delaware. We help people achieve their full social and economic potential through our programs in:
- Housing stability
- Support for domestic and sexual violence survivors
- Economic opportunity and financial empowerment
- Youth development
- Advocacy
This group is a space to discover and connect with YWCA Delaware events, workshops, and community programs. Whether you’re interested in learning about homeownership, attending a community conversation, or supporting survivors, you’ll find events that inspire, educate, and uplift.
With a 24/7 crisis helpline and centers in Wilmington, New Castle, and Georgetown, YWCA Delaware has been empowering Delawareans since 1895. Each year, we serve more than 8,000 individuals through trauma-informed, prevention-focused programs—most offered free or at low cost to reduce barriers.
