Inclusive jam night in the Home Bar basement in Tollcross. Get up and make noise! Meet people! Shout into reverb drenched mic! Sing properly if you can! Experiment with whatever style you feel like in the moment!
Only rule is be sound and listen to others.
Full back line, guitars, bass and drums provided every week.
Minifreak Synth and MPC sampler available most weeks. I am trying to build a loop and soundscape library for people to improvise over. Hoping to find other home/live producers to collaborate with this.

I realised I wasn't satisfied retreating to my attic to twiddle with synth loops and basslines. I've checked out the other jam nights in Edinburgh and this is most open to all skill levels, equipment and styles. Bit of a grungy club house vibe which is probably the best for this kind of thing. So if you want to play out and meet other music types who don't feel at home at the Jazz bar then come to Home.
