Lets’s enjoy the nice weather and read at the park!

Let’s have a picnic and enjoy reading our books together. This is a silent book club session so feel free to bring whatever books you’re reading.

The good weather in HK doesn’t last long so let’s enjoy it while we can. We will meet in a shady spot near the butterfly garden in Morse Park, Lok Fu. Bring something to sit on, snacks and your book.

16:30 -16:40: Say hi and briefly share something about the books we are going to read

16:40 - 17:20: Silent reading time

17:20 - 17:30: After reading chat

• If you’re late, please join the silent reading session first. We can catch up when the session’s over. :D)

• You can identify the group by spotting people with a book 📕.

### Mystery Book Swap

Join us for a mystery book swap! This an event to exchange second-hand books that you have loved and want to share with others.

Here’s how it works:

• Wrap Your Book: Please wrap your book in plain paper to keep its identity a secret.
• Creative Description: Write a piece of paper with 3 words that describe the book without revealing the title or author. Feel free to add a doodle
• Condition: Ensure your book is in good condition for others to enjoy.
• Description: Tape the piece of paper with the 3 words securely to the wrapped book.
• First sentence: on your phone or a separate piece of paper, copy the first sentence of the book to read out loud (do not attach it to the book)

When: 17 May 25, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Please arrive on time.

Remember, don’t judge a book by its cover.
