About us
Get ready for good movies, conversation, drinks, and atmosphere at Eclectic Movie Club!
For each event, we select a theme and present our guests with a choice of three movies that fit that theme. We watch trailers for all three movies then vote which one to watch in full. After the movie, we discuss the plot, characters, themes, context, and whatever makes the movie interesting.
The bar does not charge us admissions, but please buy at least one drink or food item, as they very graciously host us. And of course feel free to stay and hang out after the film ends!

Hong Kong Hearts and Melting Pots
The Aftermath, Lower Ground Floor, Sunny Building, 57 - 59 Wyndham Street, Central, al, HKJoin us at the Aftermath for a relaxing night of movie and drinks. Each event, a participant from this group picks a theme of three movies, then at the next event the group will vote on one of these movies to watch together. After the movie, participants can stay to continue discussing the film or hang out at the bar that will continue staying open. So join with all your film passion, bring friends along and enjoy a fun and interactive evening in good company!!

Points to note:- Since the bar is gracious enough to host us without a cover charge, participants must buy at least one drink/food item in order to attend 🙏
- Please try to come on time (on or before 7:00pm) so you can buy your food and drinks and settle down ready for the movie.
- We watch the three trailers and vote for one film to watch. We aim to screen the trailers around 7:15pm and start the movie at 7:30pm.
- All movies will be subtitled in English.
- The venue does get cold so bring a coat or extra sweater!
- After the movie usually some members will hang around for a drink. Feel free to join us for a discussion about the movie or anything else.
