Tan Ka Wan Family Outdoor Experience!

Details
It’s a family overnight trip in Sai Kung east Country Park. We do a mix of fun and interesting land and (if not too cold) water-based activities. Plus campfires, cooking, night hikes, star gazing, etc. A chance for parents and their kids to connect, learn and have fun together in an unspoilt and remote rural landscape. Away from home; far from the crowds.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
Activities may include: camping, meal prep, karate/yoga on the beach, coasteering, night hike, campcraft, marine timber crafts, and in warmer weather, watersports like kayaking, SUP, and snorkeling.
WHO? For kids aged 6 or more with Parent(s). Ideal for a group of 2-3 families to enjoy together.
WHERE DO WE SLEEP? Our Tan Ka Wan base includes a staff house. It has 3 bedrooms one with a bunk bed and a single, one with 2 single beds and a big one with 4 or more camp-beds. Hot showers and toilets. Modern kitchen. Most groups want the adventure of camping, but, it is flexible! In poor weather, or if it gets cold/scary, we often sleep in the house. An ideal way to introduce first-timers to camping. We suggest you bring your own sleeping bag/sheet but we have a few spares.
WHAT DO PARENTS DO? Parents are welcome to join in the activities with their children, enjoy learning and new experiences, in a family group. Some of the best bonding can happen when learning together e.g. when you share a double kayak (with no electronic devices or other interruptions/distractions) with your child.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? We are active facilitators and we keep the groups small:
2 days $1,800 per person with reductions for groups of over 3.
This includes food, all equipment, group boat transfers and instruction.
HOW TO PAY? - easiest by cash or cheque made out to “A-Team Edventures Limited” deposited in our HSBC ac no 652 093394001. Please scan/Whatsapp the pay in slip and your details to us.
