What we’re about
Welcome, and a Big Hello to both newcomers and seasoned veterans of the group!
We are the Hong Kong Screenwriters' Circle: a random coalition of writers, producers, directors, and actors... bringing you fun, thrills, and chills since 2006!
But seriously, folks... we are here to bring together creative people who are working on, or interested in, film and TV projects. This includes professionals, aspiring professionals, amateurs, students, and teachers. Our goals are:
• to learn about writing, film, and TV (speak up if you want to give a talk!)
• to get people together who would like to create together (including amateur, student, and professional projects)
• to share ideas, dreams, and insights, and help each other strategize
• to foster a sense of "creative community" in Hong Kong, and have fun!
This is YOUR group. You can bring ideas of what you want the group to do, or what kind of events you want to help create! We are open to ideas. As the group continues to grow and evolve, we welcome your participation, and if you want to see something happen or make something happen, contact the organizers. We are here to serve you, and to help you make things happen!
