What we’re about

Big Talk is of course the opposite of Small Talk.
The Big Talk movement was created by Kalina Silverman in the US, initially as a personal project. Its popularity has led to it developing into a global social impact initiative aiming to enhance interpersonal communication and face-to-face social connectedness around the world. Such connectedness is strongly associated with well-being and happiness.
Big Talk encourages thoughtful interaction, active listening and heightened empathy, which in turn leads to more meaningful relationships.
This group will meet once every few weeks to answer Big Talk questions in a welcoming, friendly and non-judgemental environment with the aim of skipping the small talk and talking about the things that really matter in life. The conversation will be structured but relaxed and focus on a different Big Talk question each time.
