HKLBC Holiday Drinks Social

Hi Ladies!

Our December event will be a social at Delaney's, so there is no book to read in preparation, but bring your suggestions for our 2026 calendar dates!

Please keep your RSVP accurate as there is limited seating in December due to the holiday parties at that time of year.

Make sure you keep track of your drink tab and settle before you leave for the evening as you may get up from you original seat si that makes it harder for the staff to track our orders as usual.

Festive clothing is encouraged!

Please also bring book suggestions with you! Think about books you've always wanted to read or something you have read that you think others may get something out of. We are very open to books that may be outside our comfort zone.

After the event, I will send out a poll with book synopses to the members to vote on for 2026. Some of the categories we had from this year: Asia-oriented, Classic Fiction, Non-Fiction, Memoir and biography, Historical Fiction.

The January book will be pre-selected just to give people more time as it's a busy time of year but the rest of the year will come from the top voted in each category.

This event is purely social, but if you have any books laying around you are finished with, feel free to bring them to pass on to other book lovers. Many have joined us in recent months, so even books we have read earlier this year are welcome. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
