Visit Lady Yang's / 楊氏 Grave (Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mum)

Details
The idea that Dr. Sun Yat-sen, co-founder of modern China, buried his beloved Mother (and fellow revolutionary) here in Hong Kong is interesting in and of itself. Add in the fact that his hometown is over 75 kilometers away in Zhongshan / 中山, Guangdong makes it all the more intriguing.
Also interesting is Dr. Sun's unique relationship with women. His many marriages (sometimes running concurrently!) and other histoire de coeur are legendary. He seems to have been every bit the charismatic revolutionary that we see in all the photographs. What is less well know, however, is his relationship with his own mother especially during his formative years before and after he set off to Hawai'i as a young boy.
There is scant biographical information about Lady Yang but I think it is still worthwhile to try and fill in the gaps given the vaulted place the Sun family occupies. It is also important, I think, to remember Lady Yang not just as Dr. Sun's Mother but as an important figure in her own right.
This event will be a great way to explore the many layers of Hong Kong history from dynastic to modern. The first leg of the route is considered "Easy" by hiking enthusiasts BUT keep in mind it is uphill along Fei Ngo Shan Road - 飛鵞山道. We'll return by walking down a portion of Wilson Trail, Section 4. This part of the Wilson Trail is more advanced with slick rocks and more jungle-like conditions so the right footwear is a must. The benefit will be that we'll walk along a local "ancient trail" and past the semi-abandoned village, Wong Keng Tsai 黃麖仔 on our way back to Clearwater Bay Road. Great for photos of both nature and ruin-like structures.
Those of you who'd like to avoid the last part of the adventure, no need to worry as I'll organize a group to return by walking down FNS Road.
