Way back in 2016, I created a list of places in Hong Kong that I thought the Sacred Spaces group should visit. All the usual suspects are on the list: Man Mo Temple, Yau Ma Tei - Tin Hau Temple, etc. Satisfied, I put the list in a drawer and forgot all about it. I just recently unearthed that old original notebook, and it turns out that there are a few places that were NEVER visited. This oversight will be corrected right away!

The first stop is visiting Ap Lei Chau and the two temples there: the Guan Yin Temple and the Shui Yuet Temple. Shui Yuet is the real star. Having been on the island for several hundred years, the temple was redeveloped when Ap Lei Chau was turned into a residential space with a waterfront promenade. Don't let the modern look fool you, as that part of Hong Kong Island has been settled for a very long time, with those villages being part of the landscape for generations.

Why not come along with us to enjoy a quick trip visiting two interesting temples there on Hong Kong Island.
