Welcome to the Hong Kong Star Trek Meetup Group – your new home for all things Star Trek right here in our vibrant city!
What We're About & What We'll Do:
This group is a place for fellow fans of the Star Trek universe – from The Original Series to Strange New Worlds and beyond – to connect, share our passion, and boldly go where no fan has gone before (in Hong Kong, at least!). We aim to create a fun, friendly, and inclusive community where we can:
- Discuss our favourite episodes, series, characters, and theories.
- Organise casual meetups for coffee, drinks, or meals to chat about the latest Star Trek news or rewatch classic moments.
- Host viewing parties for new episodes or themed movie nights.
- Potentially explore themed activities like trivia nights, board game sessions (Star Trek themed, of course!), or even group outings to relevant local events (like sci-fi conventions, if they beam into town!).
- Share our collections, fan creations, and love for the optimistic future Star Trek represents.
Our events will be focused on socialising, sharing our enthusiasm, and simply having a good time with like-minded individuals.
Who Should Join?
If you're in Hong Kong and you:
- Consider yourself a Trekkie or Trekker.
- Love discussing Klingon honour, Vulcan logic, or the intricacies of temporal mechanics.
- Can quote Captain Picard, Kirk, Sisko, Janeway, or Burnham at a moment's notice.
- Are simply curious about the Star Trek universe and want to learn more in a welcoming environment.
- Are looking to make new friends who share your passion for sci-fi and exploration.
... then this group is for you! All are welcome, whether you're a lifelong fan or a recent convert.
Membership Dues or Fees:
There are no membership dues or fees to join or participate in the Hong Kong Star Trek Meetup Group. The only costs you might incur would be for your own food, drinks, or tickets to any external events we might attend as a group.

The Hong Kong Star Trek Meetup Group is an independent, fan-run community. We are not affiliated with any business or official organization. We're just a group of fans creating a space for ourselves!
