Locksley City has been on a downward spiral since the last car plant closed. Schools and hospitals are falling apart, abandoned houses get trashed by vandals and the police department is controlled by local gangster, Guy Gisborne. When Robin Hood’s dad speaks out against corruption, he’s framed for a robbery and thrown in jail. Twelve-year-old Robin finds himself on the run. The only place to hide is Sherwood Forest, which stretches hundreds of kilometres from Lake Victoria to the Eastern Delta. It’s a dangerous place, where the bears and snakes are almost as scary as the human population of bandits, terrorists, cultists and biker gangs. Robin wants revenge on the people who threw his dad in jail. But to do that, he'll need help from his friends.

For the Dungeon
You are the newest felyne recruits for the talented chemist Xandy Blushmore who owns the trendiest potions boutique in the city: The Mystic Emporium. You will be tasked to acquire rare ingredients outside of the wall and beyond the dangerous woods. Your patron pays better than anyone else and promises compassionate pay for a very perilous job! Do well! Get coin! And with luck you'll make it for a nice warm dinner of Fish and Catnips.

You can drop in and play at any One-Shot Saturday – you do not need to have played in a previous session or commit to playing again. Whether you've played an RPG before or not, you're welcome to join us.

Please arrive on time as once the games begin it becomes difficult to properly introduce latecomers.

WHAT IS A TABLETOP RPG?

It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world.

Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.
