Just as the Mavens' meeting is ending, they are approached by Brindlewood Bay's chief law enforcement officer Sheriff Dalrymple seeking their help once again. A wealthy financier, Albert Krause, who was vacationing with his family on their yacht, was dragged out of the bay, dead! The Krause family all assert Mr Krause fell overboard, but the Sheriff suspects foul play.
The body is currently being held in a cold storage at the fish market, soon to be shipped back to Boston for the funeral. It is up to The Mavens to investigate this mystery before then.
