BLACKSAT
It is 2010 and the NASA shuttle program is showing its age, but it has not yet been scuttled. For the last 18 months, you have been training for a classified, unpublicized satellite repair mission. It’s called BLACKSAT, but you know little beyond the name. The language on the security documents was pretty severe. There are some peculiar features. The emphasis on EVA (extravehicular activity) makes sense, but it also seems that you might be bringing non-astronaut personnel along. Who could you be taking into space who is not an astronaut, but who still is entrusted with a secret mission? A scenario for Delta Green

The FIVE
A decade ago the Queen died, and her wards faltered, and the corruption came into the world. It is oil and smoke and brass and clockwork; it is industry and toil and ceaseless labour. We fight back against it's armies but we are a dwindling few. There are five knights who defend this place; five knights who serve a dead Queen and who, fighting the corruption became infected by it. We love them, and fear them, and hate them.

Hostile Work Environment
Your organisation has been brought out by a giant conglomerate. Thanks to new legislation, this means that their executives can now legally hunt you for sport on company property. However, if you kill one of them, you get their job, and you secure your position on top of the company food chain. Get out, get good, or get killed.

Apotheosis Janitors
You are an acolyte. Your master has just become a deity. Once, they were only human. Destroy all evidence of that. Apotheosis Janitors is a game about a group of true believers who work together to get rid of everything that could reveal the truth: that the deity they all worship was once a mortal person who went through an apotheosis.

WHAT IS ONE-SHOT SATURDAY?

It's a weekly meet-up in Sheung Wan/Central, focusing on indie games and single-session games (one-shots). 而家所有游戏係英文嘅但如果你要嚟玩中文游戏,我哋會無任歡迎。只要湊啱玩家就行!

You can drop in and play at any One-Shot Saturday – you do not need to have played in a previous session or commit to playing again. Whether you've played an RPG before or not, you're welcome to join us.

Please arrive on time as once the games begin it becomes difficult to properly introduce latecomers.

Join the conversation, make plans, suggest games to play, etc. —

WHAT IS A TABLETOP RPG?

It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world.

Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.
