It was a peaceful morning in Midwestern America until there came the clucking of a giant chicken.
Giant Chickens is a B-movie adventure for 6d6 2nd Edition for 4 to 6 players. It tells the story of a group of ordinary people trying to survive being attacked by thirty metre tall poultry. They have to work together and use what’s at hand as they combat and investigate the oversized avians. Will you escape or end up as chicken feed? BAWWK!

The Wildsea: Riptides You are a tight-knit band of sailors on the Verdant Sea, an ocean made of forest after the trees took over the earth. Your ship is a chain-saw propelled vessel that sails across the treetops as you voyage from port to port, avoiding dangers such a leviathans, sentient storms, goose-hydra and wolf/bee genetic hybrids. The Festival of Plenty is coming to your home port, and you and your crew has been tasked with gathering fruits and hunting for food for the big feast. But when a strange messenger arrives with cryptic warnings about a neighbouring settlement, your town is unceremoniously tasked with the job of fortifying your defences instead of celebrating a harvest.

Dialect: A Game About Language and How It Dies
Dialect is a game about an isolated community, their language, and what it means for that language to be lost. In this game, you’ll tell the story of the Isolation by building their language. New words will come from the fundamental aspects of the community: who they are, what they believe in, and how they respond to a changing world.

You can drop in and play at any One-Shot Saturday – you do not need to have played in a previous session or commit to playing again. Whether you've played an RPG before or not, you're welcome to join us.

Please arrive on time as once the games begin it becomes difficult to properly introduce latecomers.

WHAT IS A TABLETOP RPG?

It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world.

Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.
