Upon arriving for their first day on the job in a deep ocean research facility, it becomes apparent that the crew are caught in a uniquely horrifying situation. They’ve become trapped inside a time-loop, along with a number of rather peculiar and dangerous experiments.
Every ten minutes, the crew finds themselves back in the elevator they arrived in. Unable to escape, and no time to call for help, how long until they've looped one too many times for their mind to handle? A Mothership adventure.

It’s the night before Hogswatch and someone’s decided that Mr Alfred Hinsley, owner of the Ankh Morpork Metalworking Factory, needs to be taught a lesson about humility, family, and kindness this winter holiday. Usually, this is a job goes to the big leagues ghosts, the ones that haunt opera houses and ancient moors — unfortunately, due to a clerical error they’ve been double-booked to haunt some other rich guy. The job now falls to you, the troupe of Treacle Mine Road Community Theatre — you’re not ghosts, and you're not that into morality plays, and honestly you don’t even know this bloke very well, but a gig’s a gig and you’ve done enough Hogswatch Panto to know how this goes.

You can drop in and play at any One-Shot Saturday – you do not need to have played in a previous session or commit to playing again. Whether you've played an RPG before or not, you're welcome to join us.

Please arrive on time as once the games begin it becomes difficult to properly introduce latecomers.

WHAT IS A TABLETOP RPG?

It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world.

Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.
