Day 2: Honk! PDX Music Festival

Join us for day 2 of Honk! PDX in Montavilla! Set times for bands will be available at honkpdx.org. We'll have 3 stages near SE Stark St. & 78th Ave between Washington and Stark St. plaza next to Bipartisan Cafe, with music from 12pm-6pm—come hang! This is a free event, but donations are much appreciated to cover costs of running the event and getting the bands here!

About Honk:
HONK! PDX is a free celebration of community, collaboration and creative expression and is dedicated to creating a community of inclusion. We are working to break down systemic barriers for the underrepresented within our community, and increase community access by producing the festival in neighborhoods of the Portland area underserved by the arts.

Called everything from “avant-oompah!” to a “brassroots revolution,” Honk! bands draw inspiration from sources as diverse as Klezmer, Balkan and Romani music, Brazilian Samba, Afrobeat and Highlife, Punk, Funk, and Hip Hop, as well as the New Orleans second line tradition, and deliver it with all the passion and spirit of Mardi Gras and Carnival.
