Orientation

Orientation is a process for introducing people to a new environment. The new environment is the Optimism, Truth, And Logic Party Meetup Group. The orientation will familiarize new members with the group's missions, values, structure, and policies.

We are actors in the drama of life and death. We portray characters of our own creation. We could get to know each other. We could take turns. We could describe for each other our characters. 🙂

Let us suppose. A person simply wishes to observe the proceedings. It is the person's turn. The person does not want to describe for others their character. For whatever reason, the person is not ready to participate. In that event, we should allow the person to "pass". What else can we do?

We could also describe our missions to each other. We could describe our plans to each other. We could describe our unique talents to each other. Let us suppose. We find. Our characters, missions, plans, and unique talents are in alignment with our common needs and aspirations. Our common needs and aspirations are. Achieve and maintain happiness, good health, and prosperity. In that event, it is my hope. This group will act as a catalyst. Together we will. Extol the virtues of optimism. Demonstrate loyalty to the truth. Promote logical behaviors.

Let us suppose. A person wishes to travel to the orientation meeting by bus. In that event, it appears. The person could take a bus. Bus line 8 has a stop right in front of the high rise apartment building. Bus lines 1 and 2 also have a stop near by. Let us suppose. A person wishes to travel to the orientation meeting by car. In that event, it appears. The street parking exists right in front of the high rise apartment building. The street parking is available at any time except for during two hours of the day. The two hours of the day are from 3:30PM to 5:30PM. During those two hours, the street infront of the high rise building becomes a tow-away zone. Street parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Guest parking is located on the premises of the high rise apartment build. Guest parking is available on a first come first served basis.

The orientation meeting will take place in a recreation room. The recreation room is located in the lobby of a high rise apartment building. The high rise apartment building is located in Urban Honolulu. The recreation room is adjacent to the front entrance of the high rise apartment building. The front entrance of the high rise apartment building is typically, though not necessarily, locked. However, an intercom system is available. The intercom system enables people. People can dial in my apartment number. My apartment number is 1201. The act of dialing in my apartment number enables the intercom system. The intercom system will call me by phone. I can then buzz you into the building. A door leads into the recreation room. The door is the first door to the left as a person enters the building.

Bathroom facitities will be provided. Refreshments, such as coffee, energy drinks, soda, snacks and the like will be available for purchase at nearby convenience stores.

Please understand. The recreation room is open to the public. There is no way to reserve the room. We will see how this goes. This could end up being the first and only meeting at this location.
