One party has nominated a candidate convicted of 34 felonies, who faces additional charges for falsely inciting a mob to attack Congress; the other party is trying gently to pry its nomination from the hands of an elderly president who is having too many 'senior moments.' Meanwhile, we desperately need Diana Ross to return and instill some discipline in the Supremes, who have evidently lost any sense of judicial restraint ...
