Honolulu Silent Book Club Audio Bookwalk at Kapiolani Park

My oh my it’s mid-July!
We're meeting for another audio bookwalk.

Meet at 6 at the bandstand, front and center. We'll say hi and take a voluntary group photo. IF THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON AT THE BANDSTAND, MEET US BACK AND CENTER! BEHIND THE LAST ROW OF SEATS!

Around 6:15, we'll start walking as we each listen to whatever audio book we're listening to.

We'll finish at 7:15 and meet up again at the Barefoot Beach Cafe. Call it an evening, or stick around for a bite or something to drink!

We'll schedule the full hour for walking, and we'll start off together, but take things at your own pace and for your own duration. You're free to peel off any time and head back to meet us at the bandstand or Barefoot Cafe.

If parking at the park is rough, try the zoo or the area around Monsarrat Ave. Remember, there are two lots on the Diamond Head side, near the rec building (if that's what it is). Street parking on Kapahulu in front of the zoo is free beginning at 6.

* There is no real reason you can't also just read an ebook or a physical book. During the lockdown, I walked around at a neighborhood park and read an ebook almost every night. You just have to take it slowly and carefully!
