Are you an active, friendly person who would love to meet other like minded people in your area, but it just feels like you’re always stuck inside, working?

When you finally head out, does it seem like everyone’s got their heads down on their phones?

Does it seem like no one wants to actually connect nowadays, let alone even crack a smile?

Well, if you haven’t given up hope for humanity, and you’re ready to break the mold, then Honolulu Walk & Talk is just the group for you!

It’s the end of the day, and you know you need to move your body more, but it’s always been easier to just stay in...

Until now.

Walking is an easy and fun way to burn more calories, support your mental health, build your immunity, and improve your mood!

This is an opportunity to step out of your place, earn your dinner or justify that dessert. More importantly, it's a chance to make some local connections with other positive, active people in your area.

The point of this group is to be active, but also to connect as humans.

With that said - No ear buds. No heads down. No looking at screens. Simply humans - moving, conversing, and connecting, the way we were meant to.

Expectations:

Expect to be moving at a moderate to fast pace. However, if you prefer to be more leisurely, or are unable to keep pace, feel free to group up with members at your own more comfortable pace.

There will be a designated starting point, as well as a designated end. The end point will be a common area for us to sit down, chat some more, relax, grab a beverage, snack or meal. Though, you are under no obligation to purchase anything.

Weekly walks will range from 1 - 3 miles, with the occasional 4+ mile banger on a weekend.

Feel free to peel off at any time, should you not be able to finish the whole course.

Ala Moana is the first route we will establish. We will eventually look to add Kakaako & Waikiki, so we can connect with more interesting people in those areas.

FYI - I will still be walking EVEN if it’s just me, so feel free to join me!

We are planning for one scheduled walk every 7-10 days, with the occasional impromptu walk for those who would like to be more spontaneous, and join me more often.
