What we’re about
Do you live on Oahu? (Or are you visiting?) Do you like reading, thinking, and talking about big ideas like artificial intelligence, cognitive science, ethics, epistemology, rationality, effective altruism, philosophy, psychology, economics, and more?
Then we want to meet you! Come hang out with us at our meetups at Magic Island in Ala Moana Beach Park. We typically hold them every 2-3 weeks on Saturdays from 4 to 7 PM.
Our meetups consist of a small group discussion (or discussions, depending on attendance; it tends to bounce between 5 and 20 people), approaching topics from a place of curiosity and open-mindedness.
Our aim is to connect people from around Oahu for insightful conversations. We are always happy to get to know new people and new perspectives. Please feel free to come even if you feel awkward about it, even if you don't feel like you're the kind of person who typically attends this sort of thing!
