Honolulu Metadiscussions March 25, 2023 Meetup

Do you live on Oahu? (Or are you visiting?) Do you like reading, thinking, and talking about big ideas like artificial intelligence, cognitive science, ethics, epistemology, rationality, effective altruism, philosophy, psychology, economics, and more?

Then we want to meet you! Our next meetup is at Ala Moana Beach Park, on Saturday March 25th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Feel free to swing by even if you're running late or can only make it for part of the time, we'll be here the whole time!

We'll meet at Magic Island. From the parking lot, walk along the left side of the peninsula out toward Magic Island Lagoon. We're usually near the end of the peninsula, somewhere around the bathroom building. Look for the large blue blanket with a big fish :)

Our aim is to connect people from around Oahu for good conversations. We are always happy to get to know new people and new perspectives. Please feel free to come even if you feel awkward about it, even if you don't typically attend this sort of thing!

Our meetups consist of a small group discussion (or discussions, depending on attendance), approaching topics from a place of curiosity and open-mindedness.
