Hook, Yarn, and Needle

We are a group of "Happy Hookers" who meet weekly during the day. If you are interested in crocheting/knitting during the week please consider our group. We meet every Wednesday at different locations around the North Charlotte area. Our passion for crochet is our bond; we accept beginner crocheters to advance crocheters. We even have some very good knitters in our midst. If you are new to crochet, we ask that you practice the basic chain and single crochet stitch. (see Youtube.com (http://youtube.com/)). We are a very active group; and we ask that you come to one meeting during your trial period. After 30 days you are required to pay $15.00 in dues annually. The proceeds help with the meetup.com fees. Funds left over will be used at the end of the year to defray costs or donated to charities.
We crochet for charity: TOL (Threads of Love), Men's Shelter, Jeff Gordons Childrens Hospital, Levine Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, Hope House and others as they become known to us. Please ask one of the administrative team for guidelines for the donated items. Again, you do not need to crochet/knit for charity. You are welcome to join us for crochet and friendship. This group is very inclusive whether you are a beginner or an advance crocheter. All are welcome!
