About us
Hooks and Hangouts is a laid-back group for anyone who loves crochet—whether you've been hooking for years or you just picked up your first skein last week. We get together regularly to work on our projects, chat, and enjoy some good company. No judgment here; we're all at different skill levels and that's totally fine. Bring whatever you're working on, ask questions, share your finished pieces, or just hang out and listen to everyone else's stories.
We meet to actually crochet together, not just talk about it. You'll find people working on blankets, amigurumi, wearables, or whatever else they're into. If you get stuck on a stitch or can't figure out a pattern, there's always someone around who's happy to help. And if you're the one with the answers, we love when experienced crocheters share their knowledge.
This is really just about building a community around something we all enjoy doing with our hands. Whether you need a creative outlet, want to meet people in your area with similar interests, or just need an excuse to get out of the house and make something beautiful, we'd love to have you join us.
