Evening Kayak on The Great Miami

Get ready to paddle for a purpose! Hope Wanders, an incredible organization dedicated to empowering women through outdoor adventure and fostering supportive communities, is teaming up with Trailhead Trader and Taiter’s Kayak for a memorable fundraising kayak trip. This is a COED trip and EVERYONE is welcome!!
Join us on a scenic journey down the Great Miami River, paddling the beautiful stretch between West Carrollton and Miamisburg. This section of the river is known for its serene waters and stunning natural beauty – keep your eyes peeled, as eagle sightings are a real possibility!
Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or new to kayaking, this trip is for you! Jessica from Trailhead Trader will provide a pre-paddle session covering kayaking basics to ensure everyone feels comfortable, confident, and safe on the water.
We will meet at the West Carrollton Dam kayak launch at 4:45pm
The cost is just $45 per person, or $90 for a tandem (two-person) kayak. This fee covers all equipment, generously provided by Taiter’s Kayak. We have two tandem kayaks available on a first-to-reserve basis, so grab a partner and sign up soon! Please note, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You MUST pre-register for this event. Spots are filling up fast!
