Mary Berry's Victoria Sponge recipe - The Great British Bake Off

In the Seventh series of The GBBO (aired Aug 24, 2016), Episode 10, Royal Picnic (Final Episode), for the technical challenge Mary Berry asked the bakers to make this simple sponge with homemade jam and buttercream – without a recipe.

In looking at the ingredients, make note of:
Eggs should be size=large
Self-raising flour, British term for flour+baking powder
Jam Sugar is sugar+pectin
Icing sugar is powdered sugar or confectioner's sugar

*There were only 3 Bakers making the Victoria Sandwich technical challenge: Andrew, Candice, and Jane. Candice ended up being the Winner of the Seventh Season.
The Seventh Series was broadcast as 4th season on PBS, and Collection 4 on Netflix.
