Cards Against Humanity - Tom's Virtual Table

Details
It's the party game for horrible people. Takes a moment to learn, isn't competitive, and doesn't require heady strategy. It's all about fun and laughing with some other human beings...remotely.
We have a bunch of regulars but ALWAYS enjoy meeting new people and seeing the people who can't join us frequently.
We use a virtual/remote CAH setup quite comparable to in-person play -- in many ways better!
We "convene" via Zoom and use a website that hosts the game (allbad.cards)
Some other details:
-Please RSVP 'yes' only if you really plan to attend...and update it if that changes. We are usually full with a wait list.
-And about that wait list: don't let it deter you from signing up. People drop out as we get closer to the date and most times the entire wait list ends up playing.
-2-screen setup recommended, one for Zoom, one for the game. Any combo of desktops / monitors / laptops / tablets or phones works, but give the bigger screen to Zoom.
-Cameras on too, for sure. Non-verbals improve the fun. Masks not required. Pants optional too...thank you, Zoom ;)
-Connect to the Zoom meeting first and I'll have a link to the game there.
-2 people from 1 location? We have found it definitely works best for the game if you join separately (and from rooms on opposite sides of the home if possible or we'll have echo...echo...echo :o)
-Enjoy an adult beverage while you play...or other substance of your choice that tends to make funny stuff even funnier.
Pitch In
We love hosting games without a fee but the costs do add up a bit so if you’re willing to pitch in we’ll gladly take your fat stacks of cash:
- Meetup Account: $200 / year
- Zoom Pro: $180 / year
- All Bad Cards site $84 / year (keeps it add-free for all)
Send your contribution using the above fundraising link (or you can send via Venmo or Zelle to: tctc9876@yahoo.com) Thanks!
