13 Nights of Halloween

Hello everyone,
Got an announcement for folks.
As many people have heard here and there on the Discord, we will be doing a 13 Nights of Halloween Virtual Movie Series. We are planning to do these movies once a night from October 13th to the 25th. Each night we will play a movie and were thinking of using (Discord) or (Google Meet). We are still looking for volunteer hosts who might be interested to showcase the movies that are awesome to them. Half the nights are filled. We are asking on our form which you would prefer to host on---we can work with you on either and help set up Google Meet sessions if needed. We encourage folks to showcase movies you want others to see. These can be your favorites, movies you don’t think others know, specific dark shows, or movies that inspire your horror mind. Also, don’t feel too constrained-these could be dark comedy, macabre, twisted thriller, and whatnot.

If you want to host a night, please let us know no later than September 21st. If we get a roster filled earlier, we will also let folks know. We will also update on Discord and Meetup with a poster highlighting each of our presenters and their movies. PS on trivia nights, we are always excited if people want a special master of ceremony name/nickname so feel free to let us know that too.

Thanks to everyone for taking part in making this first of its kind event happen in the HGSS community. Also, if you don’t feel totally comfortable with tech stuff-know you got support and we can help you as much as we can to ensure your night goes great.
