What we’re about
Hello Haglettes!
We are a book club exclusively for humans who identify as women who love the horror genre. This is a safe space to explore horror literature, dark themes, and the things that both terrify and intrigue us. Both seasoned horror fans and those new to the genre are welcome. Meetings are intentionally capped at ten participants. Our hope is to create a space where participants feel safe, seen, and have the opportunity to develop genuine friendships if desired.
We utilize a free form format. In lieu of an assigned book, a theme will be chosen for each month, and you can pick what you want to read within the theme’s parameters. This format is great for getting recommendations, doesn’t require you to spend money, and doesn’t force you to finish a book you don’t like. Read what looks good, avoid what doesn’t. Themes are up for interpretation.
