Picnic Ride DA Event

Picnic Ride (DA Event). This year sees a new venue for the picnic - once more we will start from (and return to) Chichester Railway Station but this year the picnic will be held at Bosham Quays (see photo).

We will use a combination of Canal paths, small lanes and Bridlepaths to navigate our way around the Manhood Peninsula - please bring some cash for the Itchy Bosom Ferry (£3.50 I think).

Bring a picnic or buy some food in Bosham - we should meet up with the others at about 13:00hrs on Bosham Green.

There will then be a 5 mile ride back to Chichester, giving us a total of about 30 miles of cycling.

This ride is suitable for all but the most delicate of bikes and is almost level all the way.

n.b. There is plenty of parking available at Chichester station (on the north side) for those not travelling there by train.
