Churches Ride (DA Event).
This event will take you around the mid-Sussex countryside and visiting the grounds of several chuches. In each one you will find the answer to a simple clue and quite possibly have the opportunity to see the inside of the church. There are many old and beautiful chuches in the area.
The Start point is The Cabin at Berrets Farm, Henfield ( on the Downslink) at 10:30 and the finish point will be The Old Railway pub (formerly the Cat and Canary), just half a mile to the north).
Either meet at the start, or ride down from Horsham Pavilions in the Park - I will lead a ride from HPP starting at 09:15.
Please be aware that this ride will use both lanes and off road tracks and is not suitable for delicate bikes - hybrid, Gravel and MTB’s are all recommended, skinny tyres are not.
The ride from Horsham is 11 miles (and the same distance back), the Churches ride itself will be about 33 miles long.
