Crawley by Cycle 2026 - Redhill Aerodrome
Details
Surrey Lanes and Cycle Tracks to Redhill Aerodrome.
We will gather from 10:00 in Crawley High Street by The Golden Tree statue (also know the The Crow statue) outside of The Crow coffee shop, departing at 10:30.
We will use roads and cycle routes to pass through Pound Hill, Forge Wood and Heathy Wood, then following lanes through Surrey to a lunch stop at Redhill Aerodrome.
Fully refreshed , our return journey follows the National Cycle Route on a leafy largely traffic free route directly back our Crawley start point by 16:00.
A welcome return of a traditional ride.
Back for 2026, this is the last of this summer's 6 Crawley By Cycle guided cycle rides, each very slightly longer than the previous ride.
These rides are aimed at those new to cycling, or returning after a break, and would like to explore the cycle routes in and around Crawley, in the company of like-minded people. This ride is suitable for anyone, of any age, capable of riding continuously for 30 minutes at a gentle pace. All are welcome, anyone under 17 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
If you have any questions, just ask the organiser.
