Annual Freewheel Competition (DA Event)

Our annual fun Freewheel event is really just an excuse to meet up with riders from other West Sussex member groups.

We’ll ride about 20 miles to a lunch venue, meet the others there and then take a short ride to a nearby hill. One at a time we’ll roll down the hill and see who can go the furthest without pedalling. We then bid the other riders farewell and head directly back to Horsham (12 miles).

Suitable for all bikes but obviously if you want to win you’ll need to be on your most free-rolling bike.

The lunch venue will be The Five Bells at Smock Alley and the Freewheel will be from Warminghurst Church down towards Ashington.

The total mileage for the day will be about 35 miles.
