Picnic Ride DA Event

Please note: the start time for this ride is 10:30 at Chichester Station (north side) so that we can use the best timed train from The Crawley/Horsham area.
Picnic Ride (DA Event)
This popular ride starts and finishes at Chichester Railway Station and is a 25 mile loop with a picnic stop at the grassy area next to Bosham Quay.
We will use a combination of Canal paths, small lanes, part of the King Charles III England Coastal Path and bridlepaths to navigate our way around the Manhood Peninsula - please bring some cash for the Itchy Bosom Ferry (£3.50 + 50p for your bike).
Bring a picnic or buy some food in Bosham - we should meet up with the others at about 13:00hrs on Bosham Green.
There will then be a 5 mile ride back to Chichester station.
This ride is 50/50 lanes and offroad but is suitable for all but the most delicate of bikes and is almost level all the way.
n.b. There is plenty of parking available at Chichester station (on the north side) for those not travelling there by train.
