UPDATE: In the more-or-less one week since I started this group, I have been having SO many issues with Meetup. They have double-charged me, told me my subscription is expired, and now are not responding to help inquiries.
That being said, I am moving this group to Facebook! I really really hope you will all join me over there as it is the best solution I could come up with (+ it is free for me to run!). 🤩 If it is an issue for anyone, let me know and I can try to keep you in the loop via email about any hikes.

A hiking group for ladies in their 20s who are looking to get offline, connect with nature, and make some friends along the way!

Hiking solo as a girly can be scary, but sometimes your friends aren’t available or are simply aren’t outdoorsy people - cue this group! I envision this group as a community of young women who like to hike and are trying to be less chronically online (aren’t we all 🙃). Hikes will likely be anywhere from 4-8 miles long and will take place on weekends to fit people’s schedules.

This group was created to fill a gap in the meetup space for young female hikers. That being said, this is a space for women-identifying individuals (non-binary folks are welcome too). While we aren't accepting male members, we encourage you to check out the broader co-ed hiking communities in Washington!
