"Havana Reflections" charts the vibrant evolution of Cuban art music. The program traces a path from the elegant 19th-century contradanzas to the bold innovations of the Afrocubanismo movement and the soulful edges of jazz, celebrating a unique heritage where Spanish lyricism and European classical music meets the pulse of African rhythm.
