PAUSA Art House proudly presents Tali’s Corner, a vibrant Latin music house band project led by Buffalo percussionist Geraldo “Tali” Rondon. This semi-regular series celebrates the rich traditions of Latin jazz, son, boleros, danzón, and more, brought to life by a rotating lineup of exceptional musicians from Western New York’s thriving music community.
Tali’s Corner Band
Marcus Lolo - piano • Joey Gonzalez - percussion • Tali Rondon - percussion • Alex Aponte - bass • Jay - trumpet • Adrián Guadalupe - cuatro & guitar
Born and raised on Buffalo’s Lower West Side to Puerto Rican parents, Tali grew up immersed in a wide spectrum of musical influences, from Afro-Caribbean and Jíbaro traditions to jazz, R&B, classic rock, and hip hop. Inspired by legendary percussionists such as Eddie Montalvo, Giovanni Hidalgo, Sheila E., Ray Barretto, and Mongo Santamaría, he developed a dynamic playing style that blends heritage, precision, and soul.
With Tali’s Corner, PAUSA becomes a gathering place for the rhythms of Latin America and the Caribbean. Each performance will feature a rotating ensemble and evolving repertoire, creating a fresh musical experience that celebrates tradition, improvisation, and community.
Thanks for supporting PAUSA art house, our musicians and live music in Buffalo. "Life is better with friends."
