Join in on the very first Hot Kind Artists Coffee Klatsch! This is a space for single gay and bi male artists to hang out, connect, flirt, and make new friends. Twice a month, we klatsch in various chill locations around Pittsburgh. Phone screens down, no apps in sight, just guys making eye contact and learning about each other and their artistic passions.

June 1st, 7-9 pm
Lawrence Hall (4609 Butler St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201)

Email hotkindartists@gmail.com to RSVP so we can get a bit of a head count. Walk-ins are welcome too.

This meetup might be right for you if you’re any of the following:

• Actor
• Writer
• Painter
• Musician
• Tattoo artist
• Singer
• Performance artist
• Gregorian chanter
• Rock star
• Beat poet
• Etc!

What you can expect: Dudes gathering around a table or two over the course of two hours, making conversation. (Very often about art, cause that’s something we all have in common, right?) There will be prompts scattered around, if you need ideas for things to talk about. Every once in a while you’ll be encouraged to switch seats and talk to someone new. Low-pressure, warm, friendly atmosphere.

Who started this: Matt Henderson, a theatre artist dissatisfied with dating apps and bars who is interested in meeting other artistic men as well as fostering connections between them.

*Note: the establishment we’re going to for our first coffee klatsch doesn’t actually serve coffee, but it’s a cool open space with lots of seating that usually isn’t too crowded or loud. Coffee klatsches may not always include coffee. No refunds or exchanges
