Space. The next frontier

Details
The cost of reaching the stars is dropping, and we're starting to reach out further from the planet for both exploration and commercial opportunities - as well as the occasional piece of creative art.
In this evening of awe-inspiring talks we'll explore the final frontier of human exploration - space. What is it like to use space as a creative medium? What design challenges are there, when working with the unknown?
Thanks to Artlist and Norwich University of the Arts for supporting this event.
Sent Into Space, the winners of Artlist's $100k Fund 2023, are a creative agency specialising in near-space launches. They won with their project to film the Aurora Borealis from 100,000 feet above the Earth and will be sharing their project with us.
Maryam Mousavi has 20+ years in satellite and launcher R&D, and specialises in leading complex space projects from concept to launch, focusing on mission design, integration, and testing. She'll be exploring how space is transforming into a limitless canvas for creativity from zero-gravity artistry to futuristic design.
Minima Design, a product design consultancy, are part of a nationwide effort to design a pioneering new device to process water on the surface of the moon. We'll learn more about the project and what huge challenges they're facing along the way.
We'll also hear from Stuart Catchpole of SpaceEast, and Michael Yates from Norwich BID to share news of the first-of-its-kind solar energy program.
