Incubating Innovation - an evening of inspiring lightning talks:

Thank you for all the positive comments on our earlier Meetup and LinkedIn discussions about how to keep this group alive.

Your new organising team is now working hard at setting up the second of our four talkies for this year. Our theme for 11 June will be "Incubating Innovation: The future of Norfolk’s creative communities" - see the link below for more details.

The doors will open at 17:45, we will ask people to take their seats in the lecture theatre at 18:00 and the evening will kick off at 18:15 sharp!

We will hear 12 lightning talks (of 3 minutes and 3 slides each MAX) from 12 excellent speakers from across industry. The talks should take no more than 1.25hrs - we will then hold a Q&A session from about 19:30 to 20:00 followed by an hour of relaxed socialising (with a FREE glass of wine). The event will close at 21:00.

• Talkie #3 - Thursday 10 September

• Talkie #4 - Thursday 10 December.

We have opted for the second Thursday each quarter so as not to clash with NorDev (which tends to be on the first Wednesday) and SyncNorwich (which tends to be on the third Thursday). We hope to hold two other ad-hoc events, perhaps in collaboration with these groups - we will let you know more when we can.

If you have any suggestions for talkies - subject or speakers - please let Caroline and me know. Ideally, we would like to have more than one speaker at each event - so please suggest speakers for Talkie #2 now.
