Our Guest Speaker: Dustin Kenzel is a full-time real estate investor who owns and operates a portfolio of single-family, small multifamily, and co-living properties in Colorado Springs. An Air Force veteran with a background in project and operations management, Dustin began investing in real estate six years ago while working a traditional W-2 job and gradually built enough cash flow to transition into real estate full-time. He enjoys finding creative ways to make deals work, whether through assumable loans, rent-by-the-room strategies, or value-add opportunities. Despite the challenging interest-rate environment of the past several years, he has continued to grow his portfolio by focusing on practical, real-world solutions and how to make the numbers work. When he's not working on real estate, Dustin enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, turning wrenches on cars, and trying just about any food put in front of him.
