Girl You Nasty Tour with SPRKLBB & Mutualism

Details

### Girl you nasty tour

With their shared ideals for a more eclectic dance floor, Mutualism and SPRKLBB have formed a sisterhood and collaborative project that merges the big room sounds of New York City with the cutting edge of the upstate dance floor. Girl You Nasty is the product of those aural conversations, bringing their energy to a diverse cross-section of the nations nightlife offerings. Stops include some of the nation’s major clubs, new vinyl-focused queer parties, and remote outposts in smaller communities. The first dates of an ongoing collaboration, Girl You Nasty merges their individual visions of DJing in the current era, pushing friendship and regional alliance as a vision for the future of dance music in New York.

### SPRKLBB

SPRKLBB is an all-vinyl DJ and photographer based in New York, hosting intimate club nights at Brooklyn’s Black Flamingo, as well as regular shows on The Lot Radio and London’s Soho Radio. He was the founding resident and programmer for the Ostbahnhof parties in New York and Los Angeles, and has held numerous residencies in Brooklyn at spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club, High+Tight NYC, and The Gateway. A mentee of NYC house duo The Carry Nation, his vinyl sets showcase an eclectic, improvisational sound rooted heavily in the mix, adding a fresh voice to the format.

### Mutualism

Mutualism is a multimedia artist based in Buffalo, New York. For over a decade she’s been an active DJ and event organizer of Western New York’s electronic music scene, throwing parties such as Strange Allure and Real Love. She is currently a resident of Buddy Buddy, a queer party hosting top names in underground dance music, and thrown at Buffalo’s historic gay club The Underground. Known locally for her community-focused projects and organizing, her work often skips the club in search of more organic sonic gatherings, including the renegade park party Hernando’s Hideaway among others. She’s collaborated with programs focused on arts as outreach, such as the Buffalo chapter of Walking and Falling, a DJ mentorship program for women and nonbinary people. She tours regularly in North America, and recently made her Berlin debut in Berghain’s Lab.oratory for their notorious NYE “Silvester” party.
