House of Dreamers Creativity Club goes into the next round. This time with a specific focus on intersectional queer feminism and other witchcrafts. {ifkaka} is a space within HoD for feminist, queer, queer feeling and creeped out people who crave creativity, rest, depth, community and genuine connection as a sweet break from capitalism and patriarchy in times of polycrisis. 🌿🎨

💖 **Who we are**
We are a group of intersectional people who gather for creative expression, sacred rest and therapeutic laughter - arts & crafts, bring your knits, paint & sip, writing, book club, and more – alongside witchy and nature-centered spirituality, and all things astrology, tarot and self-development. Watch out, we also believe in science. On a hard day, just bring yourself to be held by the warm embrace of non-judgmental community.

Creative expression isn’t just a hobby, and community isn’t just a label for marketing – they are both basic needs of all humans for our mental and emotional well-being.

We are feminist, trauma-informed, and passionate about inner growth without spiritual bypassing, who gather intentionally to create a joyful yet deep community-based antidote to a world of polycrisis that never stops screaming. 🌍🔮

🚨 **Why we do what we do**
We see and feel daily how omnipresent deep unhealed trauma is perpetuating suffering in an endless cycle of repetition compulsion in the shape of patriarchal, hypercapitalist and white supremacist, classist thinking, behavior, and actions — how deeply and unnoticed our individual, ancestral and collective wounds are running the show in the veins of all spheres of life and spaces.

Our antivenin is untethered joy and unapologetic rest, to unlearn the old ways from our minds and hearts, and make space for the new with unapologetic authenticity, rest, creativity and relentless joy - without falling into toxic positivity - and the medicine of a conscious community - one hardwired neuropathway at a time. If you believe in therapy, seek self-aware, emotionally mature, healing friendships, and a good belly rocking laugh, then this is for you.

💬 **Where we place ourselves and our mission**
More than just an art group, this is about sharing space with people who get it - who think critically, embrace both science and spirituality, and want meaningful, supportive connections. Together, we aim to:

✊ Engage in intersectional feminism, unlearning systems of oppression and supporting one another’s growth.
💬 Support community engagement, creating inclusive, safer spaces where we can share, learn, and grow together.

🔥**What do we do exactly?**
We meet, hang out and talk by the fire, light each others’ fire, hold our weary heads and hearts, laugh, read, bring our favorite book (doesn’t have to be intellectual at all), sketchbook, notebook, knits, beads… We are the wise Elders we so desperately need.
