About us

Welcome to the meetup group of House of the beloved, a residential center for embodied philosophy—an approach that focuses on lived experiences and how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Our spaces, tools, and activities are designed to support participants in their search for what is real, helping them break through fears, vitalize their bodies, and explore what it means to be human.

At House of the Beloved, we are reimagining the ways we live, learn, and love. As a contemporary, experimental monastic community grounded in the concept of "being different together," we explore new approaches to relationships, parenting, counseling, teaching, and community-building.

We're dedicated to helping you become absolutely free. Our transformative practices encourage deep connection through the authentic expression of your own way of being human.

House of the Beloved is a transspiritual community, gathering around shared practices rather than shared beliefs. We blend the intellectual rigor of philosophy and science with the sensual experiences of spirituality and the creative expression of art.

We warmly welcome all journeyers, regardless of their life philosophies, traditions, religions, gender, or sexual orientation. Placing diversity and difference at our core, the communal life we propose is a “being-different-together and becoming-together as an expression of differences, as part of a shared process participated in differentially” (Manning & Massumi, 2014)

If you’re interested in becoming part of this community, you can join an activity, visit us, email us, add yourself to our whatsapp group, support us on our crowd funding page, or listen to our podcasts.

Welcome for a practice-based info session about the Inner Frontier.

18h: potluck dinner (bring a dish)
    19h: start info-session
    22h: optional evening ceremony

    ABOUT THE INNER FRONTIER:

The Inner Frontier is a program for young adults (18–30) who are seeking themselves, their place in the world, and/or real, deep connections with fellow seekers. Through six weekends spread between September and May it aims to deepen self-understanding, sharpen thinking and relational skills, and help you reconnect with nature and with your own body.

Alongside the core practices of House of the beloved (meditation, authentic presence, shadow work, and existential inquiry) you are invited to propose activities and to shape the structure of the Inner Frontier so that it fits (y)our existential needs as closely as possible.

This is not a workshop. It is a gateway to a deeper and more authentic way of living.
