Join Houston Art Walks for a special evening celebrating the many meanings, traditions, and creative possibilities of the mask.
Hosted by Hardy & Nance Studios, MASKS II is a curated exhibition featuring 2D and 3D artwork from artists across Houston and the surrounding areas. The show explores masks and costumery through themes of identity, transformation, disguise, ceremony, tradition, secret societies, uniforms, celebration, and cultural expression.
Expect an eclectic mix of paintings, photography, sculpture, and other creative works, showcasing both functional and decorative approaches to the mask.
